Universal mid-size autonomous robot platform for research and education

UKU is a universal mid-size autonomous robot vehicle developed for multi-purpose use (e.g. agricultural tasks). The robot can be equipped with different payload and functional modules for multiple tasks. The platform provides a solid, fully functional base for algorithm development in research and education.

The robot has served as an educational platform for the Autonomous Vehicles course in the Product Development and Robotics curriculum since 2006. Since 2018 it has also been used as a platform for testing the full-scale AV shuttle software stack.
